North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Project SAFE (Seniors Against Financial Exploitation) held its first workshop together at Clinton G. Martin Park during the regular meeting of the Williston Park Senior Group.
The program, which was held in conjunction with the town’s aging-in-place initiative Project Independence, is designed to educate seniors about the prevalence of scammers who try to part seniors and their money.
