The Shelter Rock Library will feature a concert, “From Gershwin to Yankee Doodle” with the Karkowska Sisters on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. Join the library for this program featuring sister duo Katarzyna Karkowska on piano and Anna Karkowska on violin.
Hear familiar classical and popular music compositions, such as George Gershwin’s “Summertime” from Porgy & Bess, Pablo de Sarasate’s “Carmen Fantasy,” Henryk Wieniawski’s “Polonaises Czardasz” and the American folk tune, “Yankee Doodle.”
