Floral Park Memorial High School eighth-grader Joshua Nunez was the winner of the school’s annual spelling bee. Seventh grader Celeste Parham placed second in the competition, which was organized by spelling bee liaison and English teacher Theresa Cerulli. Nunez, pictured second from left with English Chairperson Dorothy Drexel, Parham and Principal Dr. Kathleen Sottile, will move on and compete at the 2015 Hofstra Long Island Regional Scripps Spelling Bee on Sunday, Feb. 8.
