On Friday afternoon, Jan. 30, Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth addressed the crowd of North Hempstead residents and League of Women Voter luncheon guests at Harbor Links Country Club. During her state of the Town address, Bosworth mentioned she “didn’t feel well” and “I need a chair to sit down”. Concern over the comment hastened the actions of Kimberly Corcoran-Galante, the Commissioner of Community Service and the Commissioner of The Department of service for the Aging and Project Independence staffer, to immediately grab a chair for the supervisor and several staffers come to her aid including her husband Dr. Jay Bosworth.
After a brief delay, Bosworth continued with the State of the Town address seated. The speech was being filmed for television.
