A man allegedly killed hit 43-year-old girlfriend and her 17-year-old daughter before committing suicide in Wading River on Sunday night, Suffolk County police said.

Riverhead Town Police were called to a 12th Street home after a resident called 911 to report a shooting, but when police entered the home, they found three people dead from gunshot wounds at 10 p.m., authorities said.

Thomas Calhoun, 44, was identified as the alleged gunman. Police said he fatally shot his girlfriend, Tanya Lawrence, and her daughter, Danielle Lawrence, before turning his gun on himself. All three were residents of the home

Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information on this case to call them at 631-852-6392.
