SMLI Summer Registration

SMLI_030515AThe Science Museum of Long Island will be opening up its summer camp registration this March.
Early registrants will receive a ten percent discount on the programs being offered.
In an interactive, innovative and hands-on learning environment, the preschool-aged through high-school-aged youngsters who participate in the museum’s unique science camp share an innate enthusiasm for and curiosity about all things scientific—while having summertime fun.
On Wednesday, March 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., early-bird registration for SMLI’s Summer Camp will take place in the Museum’s main building, at 1526 North Plandome Rd. in Plandome Manor.
At the registration event, parent and children will meet the experienced teachers, greet the lovable members of the Museum’s menagerie, get a chance to tour the facility and grounds. Questions of the museum staff are always welcome and upon registration, the camper will receive an early-bird discount on summer camp fees.
Whether enrolling children for one week or for the entire summer, campers can be sure that they will have an exciting and educational experience to remember forever.
For more than 50 years, the Science Museum of Long Island, located on the grounds of the 36-acre Leeds Pond Preserve in Plandome Manor and often called “Long Island’s Best-Kept Secret,” has been making science education enjoyable and exciting for children of all ages.
