AIL Party At Whit & Whim

Wit & Whim, “the little shop with a big heart”, located at 6 Carlton Ave. in Port Washington, invites the community to stop by for their opening party tonight, Thursday, March 19 from 6-8 p.m.
The store is celebrating Adventures in Learning, the after school academic program for children in the Spinney Hill area of Manhasset and Great Neck. Everyone will be pleased with the eclectic treasures from which to choose.
Every month, Wit & Whim donates 100 percent of its profits to a different local organization. This month, the profits will be donated to Adventures in Learning, March’s featured organization.
Wit & Whim’s innovative concept is a commitment “to donating all profits to organizations that benefit individuals, communities and our world.”
Diana Holden, Executive Director of Adventures in Learning, said, “I can’t tell you how thrilled we are to be honored by Wit & Whim.
Founder and owner Laurie Scheinmann’s caring, giving and sharing concepts are unique. She is providing such a wonderful opportunity for Adventures to meet the community in such a special way.”
