Calling all second and third graders in Manhasset! “Book Club in a Box” might be just the thing to get your children reading. Lindsay Ryan, Brianna Varnas and Kylie Morgano have created a terrific project for their Girl Scout Silver Award, “Book Club in a Box.”
In only 30 minutes of your time they can explain the program and hand out starter kits, then you can be off and running with your own book clubs for your kids! It’s a super-easy and fun activity for your 2nd and 3rd grade children. They will supply you with the full layout of how to run the meetings, jobs for every child, along with suggested books to use for each grade. It is actually a kit for you!
