There’s a new horror film on the horizon. The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom & the Horror that Followed is an upcoming film from the creative mind of Brian James Fitzpatrick, a Los Angeles transplant from Levittown. The Division Avenue High School grad and his fellow classmate and friend Damian Maffei will be coming back to Levittown this spring to shoot their movie. Maffei will play Martin Malone, an emotionally fragile peeping Tom who suffers from scopophilia—a love of watching people.
“Through his struggles with addiction and compulsion, Martin finds the girls of his dreams,” said Fitzpatrick who wrote and directs the film. “The more he watches her, he finds that she may be involved in a dangerous secret society. He falls in love with her and tries to save her in this horror noir film.”
With help from Muse Productions, Fitzpatrick has been funding the film through a Kickstarter campaign. To donate to this local piece of future Hollywood magic, click here.
A full length feature story of Fitzpatrick and his film will appear in the April 4 edition of the Levittown Tribune. Stay tuned…
