Fifteen Floral Park Memorial High School students participated in the Junior Achievement of New York’s High School Heroes program on March 18. As part of their participation, the students traveled to Floral Park-Bellerose Elementary School and spent the day teaching first-and second-grade graders about the community with prepared lesson plans. Floral Park teacher and Junior Achievement liaison Margaret Nelson worked with the Floral Park students coordinating the activities.
