The Berry Hill PTA hosted a fun-filled morning of activities for the incoming class of 2028 in Syosset. The kindergarten orientation also included an informative breakfast meeting for parents with Principal Joanne Mannion.
The children participated in arts and crafts activities in the kindergarten classrooms, and had an opportunity to visit the library where they were read stories by PTA parents.
The children also enjoyed playing sports games in the gym. All parents received an informational packet about Berry Hill Elementary and the PTA. The children were each given a homework helper caddy with pencils, crayons, a Berry Hill PRIDE shirt and the book Rocket’s 100th Day of School by Tad Hills.
The PTA kindergarten orientation was a great way for the children to get familiar with Berry Hill and get excited about the coming school year.
