Nassau County police are investigating an armed home invasion in which three masked men ransacked a house in Lakeview over the weekend, authorities said.
A 24-year-old man was exiting the back door of his home when three men walked up, one of whom pointed a black revolver at his head and forced the victim back inside at 9:25 p.m. Saturday, police said.
One of the assailants demanded money and the second suspect held the victim at knifepoint while the other two stole jewelry, 12 pairs of sneakers, clothing, an X-box, an iPhone and cash before the trio fled the scene, police said.
The victim was not injured.
All three suspects were described as black men wearing black and white bandanas covering their faces. The first subject was described as 5-feet, 9-inches tall, 150 pounds, with a thin build, wearing a baseball style hat, navy blue hooded sweatshirt, maroon jogging pants and white work gloves.
The second suspect was described as 6-feet tall, 165 pounds, wearing a white V-neck style Polo t-shirt, blue jogging pants with a white and orange stripe, brown aviator sunglasses and tattoo of wings on the left wrist. The third suspect was described as 6-feet tall, 160 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt and maroon jogging pants.
