UPDATE: Detectives report the arrest of Sean Thomas in connection with the burglary at St. Francis Hospital. Thomas is charged with third-degree burglary and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Cops are investigating a burglary in Flower Hill on May 31 between 12:52 and 2:30 p.m.
According to detectives, a black male entered St. Francis Hospital and continued into the Cardiac Imaging Area in the basement. The suspect took a master key and identification card from the nurse’s station and entered the staff lounge where he changed into hospital scrubs.
Cops say the suspect then opened multiple offices and removed an Amazon Kindle and an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect’s image was captured on the hospital’s surveillance cameras.
