We would like to thank the public for their support in the recent school budget votes on May 19. We appreciate the overwhelming support in favor of the Floral Park-Bellerose School District and Sewanhaka Central High School District budgets as well as the Floral Park-Bellerose District capital reserve vote.
We would also like to take the opportunity to thank our supporters for their vote of confidence in our reelection as school board trustees. Like in many elections, there are always situations that arise that are inappropriate under any circumstance. In this election, it has come to our attention that there was an incident involving signs being placed on several lawns. Rest assured, we do not condone this type of behavior. Thank you to the Floral Park-Bellerose community and we look forward to continuing to serve our school district community.
