North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Councilman Peter Zuckerman visited I.U. Willets Road in Albertson recently to view the 14 trees newly planted by the town’s highway department. This was part of a joint effort between the Town and the Albertson Square Civic Association called “Operation: I.U. Willets Road.”
The Town of North Hempstead is currently a Tree City USA, according to the National Arbor Day Foundation, in recognition of the town’s robust tree management program.
