An unidentified man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Flanders over the weekend.

Southampton Town Police said the victim was walking along Flanders Road when he was hit by a westbound vehicle at the corner of Cypress Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

The victim was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the victim, who is described as a 5-foot, 1-inch tall, 149-pound Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to reside somewhere in the Flanders area.

Southampton Town Police detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crash or the victim’s identity to call them at 631-702-2230.
