Flowers Throughout Library
The Manhasset Public Library together with its Art Advisory Committee and Exhibitions Coordinator, Amy Finkston, announced a new art exhibit: “Flowers”, a tribute to the beauty of flowers interpreted in fabric art, collage, painting, water color and photography. This exhibit is a supplement to the display in the Library’s Community Art Gallery by the group, “Flora.” The nine women in this group work in a traditional botanical style. Together, viewers are provided with a rich journey through a lovely Manhasset garden. The participating artists have placed their work on display for your enjoyment. The “Flowers” exhibit extends throughout the library including art work of young people and breathtaking photography. The Library is located at 30 Onderdonk Ave., Manhasset NY 11030.The exhibit will run from Tuesday, September 29, until noon, Friday, December 4, 2015. An Artists’ Reception will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015, from 2PM to 4PM. Please call the Library at (516) 627-2300 to learn viewing hours in the Community Room Art Gallery. Art work in other locations within the Library may be viewed during its normal business hours. We welcome your attendance at this floral extravaganza.
