I have had the pleasure of working with Bill Keller for many years, and have come to know him as a devoted volunteer who is passionate about the educational and cultural needs of our town. Born and raised in Port, he is a graduate of the Port schools and has raised his three children here; his youngest is a current Schreiber student. Bill has been active in The Ed. Foundation as a member of the Advisory Board, and serves on the school district’s Legislative & Governmental Affairs Committee, lending his expertise and devoting his free time to improving our schools.
Bill has excellent credentials, with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in teaching from SUNY Albany and an MBA from NYU. In his position as vice president for finance and administration at Queens College, Bill has a wide range of responsibilities, including budgeting, technology, operations, human resources and strategic planning. He also works with the Queens College Library. His years of experience make him the perfect candidate, and I’m sure he will bring his typical passion and enthusiasm to this new role.
Please join me in voting for Bill Keller for trustee of the Port Washington Public Library on Tuesday, April 12.
