There were no surprises in New York’s presidential primary. Hillary Clinton defeated Bernard Sanders by a 1,037,344 margin, while Donald Trump defeated both John Kasich and Ted Cruz with 518,601 votes, compared to 214,755 for Kasich and 121,894 for Cruz.
In the third congressional district, which includes the Roslyn area, Trump won all three delegates, scoring 35,038 or 66.5 percent of the vote. Results for the Democratic race in the third district were not available.
