I Love My Park Day
Come to Jones Beach State Park in celebrating the fifth annual I Love My Park Day, an exciting statewide event to improve and enhance New York’s parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs. Various volunteer projects will be available to choose from including a shoreline clean up and installation of a snow fence/Moby mats. From 9 a.m. to noon. Jones Beach State Park is located at Ocean Parkway in Wantagh.

Meet The Candidates
The Levittown Council of PTAs will hold a candidates’ forum at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Levittown Memorial Education Center, 150 Abbey Lane, Levittown. This is an opportunity for the residents of the Levittown School District to meet and submit questions to the six candidates running for the three open trustee positions on the school board. Serving as forum chairperson is Angela List of Levittown. For additional information call 347-236-1026.

Camera Club Seeks Members
Are you interested in photography? Then come join the Wantagh Camera Club (WCC). Meets at the Wantagh Library every second and fourth Wednesday of the month beginning in September and concluding in June. $50 a year.

Levittown Community Council
The Levittown Community Council meets the fourth Monday of every month at the Levittown Public Library at 7:30 p.m. Meetings are open to the public and free.
