Students in Bonnie Stueber’s class at Hicksville High School fused elements of acting and physical education by creating their own music videos. They were tasked with first interpreting the meaning of particular songs, and then expressing that meaning with collaborative movement. By acting or dancing in accordance with the songs, students learned how to express tone and emotion through nonverbal communication, while also using that movement as an effective form of exercise.
