Hempstead Town Councilman Gary Hudes (left) applauds the first grade students who participated in the Terrific Kids Program at Abbey Lane School located at 239 Gardiners Avenue in Levittown. Terrific Kids is a Kiwanis-sponsored program that provides schools with a tool to reward students for special achievements that may otherwise go unnoticed.
