After a shaky start against strong teams from Garden City and Bellmore, the Manhasset JV baseball team went on an 11-2 run to finish the season with a record of 11-8.
Solid pitching, timely hitting, speed on the base paths and great defense made for exciting games as the team racked up wins in April and May against North Shore, Sewanhaka, Carey, Jericho and Great Neck.
The dedicated athletes shared great chemistry and camaraderie.
