National French Exam Winners

Seventeen high school students were winners in the National French Exam (Le Grand Concours), Nassau County Level. Joanna Asvestas is the French teacher at North High and South High School. Mary Ann Schwartz also teaches French at South High.

North High School winners are Julia Otruba, Level 2; Fernanda Wenzel, Level 3; Julia Lesser, Level 4; and Alessandra Antuzzi, Level 5.

South High School winners are Michael Lu, Chloe Metz, Ethan Osman, Sophia Paskov, Katelyn Pramberger, Ashwin Shaji and Noah Sheidlower in Level 2; Jabin Pu in Level 3; Ariel Ben-Sorek, Yiqing (Elissa) He and Maximilian Manicone in Level 4; and Annabelle Ng and Helena Woroniecka in Level 5.
