Masquerade Ball At Herricks

Herricks High School’s VIP students, Peer Leaders and Club of Youth Activities (COYA) recently hosted their annual dance. This year’s occasion featured a Masquerade Ball theme, complete with formal tablecloths, centerpieces and other decorations that created an elegant atmosphere and evening to remember. Life Skills programs from the Wheatley School, Carle Place, Great Neck and Lynbrook School Districts also participated in this event, which served as an opportunity for students from neighboring communities to come together for a night of dancing. Special thanks goes to Eddie’s Pizza for their generous contribution of 15 pies that attendees enjoyed. Teacher Julie Duenges coordinated the food donation and Aiza Bhuiyan and her aunt Farah Osmond took on decorating responsibilities. Administrators, special education advisors and SEPTA members also offered supplies and helped with the fundraising efforts that supported this dance.
