My buddy and I walk every Sunday along the Bay Walk Waterfront Park and were disappointed to find it closed for construction. We do not dispute the need of the project, but find the timing most distressing. As this is the peak season for such activity, why wasn’t the work scheduled for the fall, when the walkway is less traveled? There is nothing we can do about it now, but planners need to think of the inconvenience to the public the next time a similar project is scheduled. —Andy Aaron
