Metropolitan Commercial Bank recently partnered with the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce to host a business networking event featuring guest speaker George Maragos, comptroller of Nassau County. Maragos spoke with local professionals about the county’s economy and employment concerns, as well as the financial well-being of Nassau County residents.
“Providing a platform for experts to help local business owners and professionals succeed is part of Metropolitan Commercial Bank’s mission to help our clients remain informed and competitive,” said Metropolitan Commercial Bank President and CEO Mark DeFazio. “Staying on top of changing business landscapes is vital for professional success, and hosting networking events for professionals to connect and share their wisdom is just one of many ways in which the Bank supports the business communities on Long Island.”
Maragos took time to meet individually with business owners to discuss ways to take advantage of the grants and tax incentives Nassau County offers. Senior banking officials from Metropolitan Commercial Bank were also available to discuss the Bank’s many business and personal banking programs and services, all designed to build and sustain wealth.
“Metropolitan Commercial Bank has become a wonderful partner to the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce,” said Jerry Baldassaro, chamber president. “We hope to continue this partnership to offer the local business community important insights and help shape the future of Long Island’s success.”
