The JLE Teen Club of Lake Success Chabad have been busy in the kitchen of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. The teens brought their culinary skills to the house to prepare desserts for the sick children who stay there. Since so many teens came to volunteer, they divided into groups with each group baking a different dessert.

JLE Teens were given a tour of the Ronald McDoald House and met the families staying at the house.

Lots of delicious treats were baked and brought smiles to the faces of the children staying at the House. The program taught the teens the importance of volunteering by empowering them to help others, as well as helping them become capable and caring leaders of the future. JLE Teens are now collecting warm clothing to distribute to shelters and the homeless at their upcoming Midnight Run.
