Long Island Blood Services cannot meet its vital, life-saving mission without efforts such as the town’s bi-annual blood drive, which makes participation all the more urgent.

On hand for the blood drive with Muscarella and Johnson (from left to right) are Dennis Palmieri of the Town of Oyster Bay’s Department of Intergovernmental Affairs; team leader for the New York Blood Center Tess Marullo and donor Helen Pratola, who along with the town officials, contributed to the blood drive and helped patients in need of blood which could make the difference between life and death.
