Oyster Bay artist Marc Cavello recently submitted his work for publication in the Oyster Bay Enterprise-Pilot. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design in 1996, Cavello was a member of the Pleiades Gallery in Chelsea from 2007 through 2014 where he had four one-man shows and many group shows. Also a musician, his music is available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.
Cavello hand draws his work on his Wacom tablet and utilizes Adobe Illustrator. His works, including the above submission “Superconscious,” are printed large on canvas and stretched on a 1.5-inch wooden frame.
“I just got four large prints done and am very pleased with them. This image is called ‘Superconscious.’” he said. “On my official papers when categorizing my work, I call it consciousness expansion through art.”
