More than 45 paintings and ceramic pieces by young artists from the Gold Coast Arts Center (GCAC) were showcased at Metropolitan Commercial Bank’s opening night celebration for its third Bank on Art Showcase at 111 Great Neck Rd. in Great Neck Plaza.

“Hosting local events, like our Bank on Art Showcases, is just one example of our ongoing commitment to the Great Neck community,” said Laura Capra, senior vice president and head of retail banking. “We will continue to host, sponsor and support many more community events and programs in our Great Neck banking center and at other Great Neck and neighboring community venues.”

Jan Kus, a music teacher at GCAC and professional saxophonist, provided musical entertainment during the evening’s festivities.

“We are thrilled that Metropolitan Commercial Bank has graciously opened its doors to us and provided our young artists with this wonderful opportunity to display their artwork. Tonight was a very special event for them and their families,” said Regina Gil, GCAC executive director. “We are looking forward to developing additional opportunities to partner with the bank for the benefit of our community.”

The exhibit will be open to the public during regular banking hours through Nov. 15. For more information, visit www.metropolitanbankny.com.
