Willow’s Wonders satisfies sweet cravings with gourmet gluten-free, vegan and kosher treats

glutenfreecookiescookies-on-platePreparing and swapping cookies with friends and family add to the holiday spirit for many, but can be frustrating for those on special diets—until now. Unlike other cookies on the market, Willow’s Wonders offers healthy, allergen-friendly chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin options that are certified gluten free, vegan and kosher.

“Our decadent and delicious cookies are beloved by all types of consumers—those who are health conscious, those who have allergy concerns and those who simply love an incredible gourmet treat,” said Michelle Mazur-Grosskopf, the brains behind the innovative Long Island cookie company.

Named for her daughter, Willow, Mazur-Grosskopf founded the firm about a year-and-a-half ago in a small co-op kitchen in Amityville. “Amazingly, we got such an enormous response
that we actually decided to build our own dedicated allergen-friendly facility to meet the high demand for our cookies,” she said. “Willow’s Wonders have become hugely popular in the New York area, from Manhattan to the Hamptons, and we are adding more retailers every day.”

The specialty treats are made in the new Williston Park facility to ensure that they are entirely free of the top allergens. The cookies are peanut, wheat, soy, dairy and egg free, don’t contain tree nuts except for coconut and are made from non-GMO ingredients, fair-trade chocolate and other carefully sourced ingredients from companies that make sustainability and the environment a priority. Plus, particular attention is taken along the way to ensure that the ingredients aren’t contaminated by allergens.

“We know from experience that these assurances are extremely important to our consumer, but are often difficult to find in products such as ours,” the specialty dessert manufacturer explained.

“What makes our cookies incredibly unique and appealing is that they are all natural, and we use no strange or unusual ingredients to compensate for the lack of gluten, dairy or eggs,” noted Mazur-Grosskopf. “Our cookies contain no refined white flours or white sugars, and no potato, corn or rice. The best part is that they are moist, chewy and scrumptious—and most people we’ve encountered who have a gluten-free or allergy-free diet say that finding a cookie that is as chewy, delicious and melt-in-your-mouth as ours is virtually impossible.”
