A 64-year-old Mastic Beach woman was killed in a car crash in Brookhaven on Tuesday morning.
Suffolk County police said Mary Schwab was driving a Honda westbound on Montauk Highway when her vehicle struck an eastbound Mitsubishi that was making a left turn onto Horseblock Road at 6:08 a.m.
The victim was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where she was pronounced dead. The other driver was taken to the same hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Fifth Squad detectives impounded the vehicles, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information on this crash to call them at 631-854-8552.
