All this talk about free college or free tuition is doing nothing but adding more fighting between the far left, moderates and those on the right. There is no such thing as “free,” just like free college tuition will become another huge education burden on the tax payers.
Why not ask businesses what they are looking for in a person first? You would be surprised to find out there are plenty good paying jobs that don’t require a college degree. What about trade schools or vocational schools? It seems there are plenty of trades looking for workers. How about a plan that would give zero interest loans for those going to college and getting their degree on time?
This incentive would give those going to college a reason to work hard and get their degree on time. We don’t have K-12 right, why add another two to four years on to the backs of the tax payers? How about making New York work again?
