Nassau County Legislator Drucker announces two upcoming family health and wellness events.
On Thursday, March 30, from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library, the NUMC Mammography van will offer screenings to women ages 40 and over, who have not had a mammography in more than one year. Women with health insurance will be required to make a co-payment. Based on eligibility guidelines, women without health insurance may qualify for a free screening through the Cancer Screening Grant.
On the same day, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., child car seat safety inspections will also be available.
