A second teenager has died a week after the vehicle he was a passenger in crashed in Manorville.

Suffolk County police said 17-year-old Tyrese Ramseur of Bellport was riding in a Mitsubishi that hit a tree on North Street near the corner of South Street on May 20. He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said Friday.

A second passenger, 17-year-old Isaiah Perez of Shirley, was pronounced dead at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue on the night of the crash, police have said.

The driver, 17-year-old Edenilson Trejo, also of Shirley, was hospitalized for treatment of serious injuries.

Police are continuing the investigation into the cause of the crash.
