FloralParkPolice LogoFor the period April 1 to May 31, the Floral Park Police Department responded to 1,059 calls for assistance. During the same time period, the officers of the Floral Park Police Department performed CPR 3 times and administered lifesaving Narcan to overdose victims three times. Seven arrests were made, one of which was for robbery. This robbery was the result of force used during a larceny event at a local retail establishment.

Additionally, two burglaries were reported in the same time frame. Both are being actively investigated by detectives so further information cannot be made public at this time. However, the Floral Park Police Department encourages homeowners to lock their doors and windows. Additionally, there have been a number of reports of vehicles being opened during nighttime hours, with property being stolen from within them. This is also being actively investigated. The department implores vehicles owners to lock their car doors whenever they park their vehicles.

Police officers Timm and Naughton trained 59 lifeguards, pool and recreation staff on CPR, First Aid and Automated External Defibrillators, and two tours of Police Headquarters were conducted for local youth groups.
