Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano met with members of the Nassau alumnae chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Social Action Committee for their 2nd Annual Delta Day to discuss the needs of the minority community in Nassau. Delta Sigma Theta is a nonprofit Greek-lettered sorority of college-educated women, dedicated to public service, with an emphasis on programs that target the African American community. There are currently more than 160 members in the chapter from a diverse group of professional backgrounds.
