Harriet Fargnoli, beloved children’s librarian at the Great Neck Library from 1991 until her retirement in 2007, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 24.
Harriet was a senior librarian in the Children’s Department, a leader in the Great Neck Library Staff Association, a New York Times Librarian of the Year award winner
in 2005 and an inspiration to all
who knew her and worked with her. She will be greatly missed.
