The Team USA men’s hockey defenseman, a former New York Ranger and North Bellmore native, is making his first Olympic appearance. Team USA plays Slovenia at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, Slovakia at 10:10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15 and Olympians from Russia at 7:10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 before the playoffs begin Tuesday, Feb. 20. This former Oceanside resident won a silver medal in the slope style competition in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. This time, the freeskier is also competing in the ski halfpipe contest.
The Women’s Slopestyle Qualifying at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 can be live streamed here and the final at 11 p.m. the same day can be live streamed here. The Women’s Ski Halfpipe Qualifying at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18 can be live streamed here and the final at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19 can be live streamed here. NBC will air the competition as well.
