There will be a blood drive today, Friday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory, Memorial Hall, 2 Bellmore St., Floral Park, in memory of Keith Fairben.
Photo ID is required. 16-year-olds are eligible with parental consent. No appointment necessary to donate blood.
The blood drive is sponsored by Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior, Knights of Columbus and Floral Park Fire Department.
Our Lady of Victory is also an Operation Wounded Warrior collection site. Bring items that can be used during rehab, such as bicycle gloves (for use with wheelchairs), hats, T-shirts and other apparel branded with NY sports teams or police/fire department logos.
