The latest addition to the glamorous Americana Manhasset couture is unique boutique women’s store called Veronica Beard.
Launched in 2010, the clothing line is the creation of two sisters-in-law who are named Veronica, codesigners Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard. Their true friendship and a love for fashion brought them together and inspired them to create the clothing line and now open stores. The brand has an East Coast meets West Coast approach to style. The new store, which opened on Sept. 7, is the fifth store with other locations that include two boutiques in Manhattan, Dallas and Los Angeles.
Like its counterparts in New York City, Dallas and Los Angeles, the Veronica Beard store at Americana Manhasset will offer the brand’s full ready-to-wear collection, including the iconic Dickey Jacket and feminine tailoring that make up the Veronica Beard look.
Americana Manhasset shoppers will also have access to the Veronica Beard jeans and shoes categories, which have quickly become brand cornerstones.
Limited edition styles, special collaborations and third-party product will also be available at Veronica Beard Americana Manhasset, including Le Specs sunglasses, Jardin and Dannijo jewelry, Sana Jardin fragrance and more.
To bring the Veronica Beard vision to life, the co-designers worked with interior designer Carolina de Neufville to outfit the store. A matchstick chandelier hangs above a glass and Lucite table, anchored by a vintage Moroccan carpet with tones of pink, welcoming customers into a 1,300-square foot space filled with vintage furniture. Leopard print accents and custom brass and copper hanging fixtures are present throughout the store, complementing a Master Craft credenza with ‘70s vintage brass table lamps at the back of the store.
“No two Veronica Beard stores will ever be exactly alike because we like to design each with its regional location in mind. The Americana Manhasset store is an extension of our world and we knew this would be the perfect location for our next store since many of our customers in this area already consider it to be their primary shopping destination,” said Veronica Swanson Beard.
