Bluejoy e1552673005355
Bluejoy

Available for adoption from Second Chance Rescue:

Bluejoy is a sweet fella who is hoping his forever home is somewhere out there. Bluejoy is a very sweet boy, with so much love to give. Bluejoy is about a year old. He loves to play and also enjoys a good cuddle session.

This hunk was rescued from a high-kill shelter when his time was up, and now all this handsome guy dreams of is a home with an active family, or a yard to play fetch. He is good with some dogs, so a meet and greet would be best, or as a solo pet. He loves getting all the attention.

If you are interested in adopting this handsome fella, go to nycsecondchancerescue.org to fill out an application.

Available for adoption at Little Shelter:

SPECIAL SENIOR ALERT: Miss Cleo is Little Shelter’s Director’s Choice! At 15 years of age, Miss Cleo was found wandering the streets of one of the worst parts of Huntington Station. When her family was contacted, they didn’t want her anymore and left her sitting in the Town of Huntington dog shelter. Poor Miss Cleo waited patiently for a family that wouldn’t be coming to get her. Despite all of this, she never lost her spirit and only showed love and kindness to everyone she met.

Having a long-time partnership with Little Shelter, the town reached out to Little Shelter alerting them of Miss Cleo’s plight. They knew Little Shelter could give her the care she needed and help her find a family that would cherish her the way she should have been all along. Of course, Little Shelter stepped in to help and Miss Cleo.

Miss Cleo is a happy go lucky old lady, who’s always eager to go on a walk. Don’t let her age fool you, this gal has plenty of spring in her step and many adventures to still go on. She’s a lovable dog who always wants to make friends and give kisses. When she’s not out on a walk, Miss Cleo loves to burrow under warm blankets or cuddle with her favorite staff members.

For the month of March, Miss Cleo’s adopter will be sent home with a month’s supply of food (which she loves), a great big basket of toys, a big fluffy dog bed, a free vet visit and specially priced adoption fee.* She is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations and microchipped! If you think you are a fit for Miss Cleo stop by Little Shelter this week and ask to meet her. She is patiently waiting for you! (*adopter must meet all Little Shelter adoption standards)

For more information about adopting Miss Cleo, please contact Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center at 33 Warner Rd, Huntington, 631-368-8770.

rebel 2
Rebel

Available for adoption at the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter:

Rebel is looking for her purr-fect person! Rebel is an extraordinarily sweet kitty. She loves getting attention, always wanting someone to pet her and brush her. Rebel will roll around on the floor for you to rub her tummy and she will climb into your lap. She can usually be found snuggled on a shelf, but it’s not because she’s shy. She likes to let the other cats take charge and she gets along with them.

mitzi
Mitzi

Mitzi would like to be your best friend! Mitzi is a beautiful tabby cat who loves to sit in the window. She’s waiting for someone special to come and take her home. She enjoys getting affection from people she has bonded with. She is a quiet girl who would do best in a calm house.

For more information about adopting Rebel and Mitzi, please contact the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter located at 104 Deposit Rd, East Northport, 631-651-9788.

A Special Request from Pets4Luv Foundation:

Pets4Luv is now being evicted from its current facility space at the Source Mall in Wesbury. There is an urgent need to find placement for their remaining homeless cats. If you or someone you know can temporarily foster, or better yet adopt any of their sweet kitties, please email owner Dave directly at info@pets4luv.org  (subject: I would  like to foster for you). Cats are always better in a foster situation as in opposed to a shelter, so please help if you can.  For more information about adopting or fostering Clint, Marina, Smokey or TC, contact Pets4Luv Foundation @pets4luv.org or (516)-832-8200.

Clint
Clint

Clint is waiting and wondering why he still hasn’t been adopted, and quite frankly so are the volunteers at Pets4Luv. Clint is a super sweet boy who loves affection and play time! Not only is he good with people, but he also gets along great with other cats!

Marina
Marina

Marina is a loving little lady who took some time to figure out that people can be trusted, and now that she’s enjoying her new-found love of human affection, she’s ready to go home with you today! She’s also made a new BFF, her roomie, Marshall. They often are found playing together. The only thing better than adopting one cute cat is adopting two!

Smokey
Smokey

Smokey is super shy, but very sweet. She has befriended a new buddy named Ink and they love to cuddle together. Given time to adapt she will make a great addition to your family.

TC
TC

TC (Top Cat) is a sweet, super shy, quiet little lady who is waiting for her forever family. TC came to Pets4Luv in December 2015 she was only 7-months old. She likes when the rescue is quite which is when she likes to go about her shenanigans of playing and climbing the cat tree in her room. She’s a petite little lady who would do best in a quiet home with people willing to give her the she needs to adapt to a new environment.

As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
