Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:

Jackson (reference #77401) is an 11-year-old male Chihuahua mix rescued from Tennessee. He’s a happy, playful little guy who is an office favorite at North Shore Animal League America. He loves belly rubs and lounging with a view out the window.

He would do best in a quieter household with children age 12 and older. Jackson needs to meet everyone in the home, including the resident dog, and NSALA can arrange a meet & greet with your family pet(s.) Jackson would love to spend the rest of his life being a member of your family.

Chili (reference #T99709) is an adorable 5-year-old female Chihuahua mix who loves her daily walks on a leash. She’s been in a home so she’s well-behaved and currently a beloved office foster at North Shore Animal League America’s campus. She takes some time to warm up with new people and is a bit fearful – she needs some time, and patience, and T.L.C. and she needs to go to a calm home with older children only.

She has a slight heart murmur, but it doesn’t slow her down. Anyone interested in adopting Chili would be eligible for three private training sessions with NSALA’s pet behavior staff. It would be best if everyone in the family can meet her before adoption, including the family dog, to make sure it is the right match.

Want to meet Jackson and Chili? Head down to NSALA’s Adoption Center in Port Washington today!

Springing through the air and rushing to meet you, it could be no other than the one, the only, Splinter! He is the essence of zest and spirit. Not to mention, he’s absolutely adorable!

Donning a fantastic copper and ivory coat, nimble ears, and a precious face, it’s impossible for him to be any more charming. He will flourish in a spirited home that shares in his youthful jubilance and active lifestyle.

With her exotic coat and pale green eyes, it’s easy to see why people fall in love with Amana. Seven-year-old Amana is a Domestic Shorthair mix who came to Bideawee after her owners could no longer care for her. She is a special cat in need of a gentle and loving home.

She can be quite loving once she’s comfortable in her surroundings, but she’s nervous in new places. She requires a patient person who will help her feel at home in a new environment. Once Amana trusts you though, there’s no greater feeling. She’ll snuggle up to you for attention, either rubbing along your legs or curling up against your side.

Amana lives with other cats at Bideawee and may be able to go home to another friendly feline. If you’re the perfect home for her, check out her info right here!
