Meerkat and Gopher
Meerkat and Gopher

Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:

When Gopher (adoption #D48893) and his sister Meerkat (adoption #D48892) arrived at NSALA’s adoption center, they were frightened older kittens in need of time and dedication from the behavior team to help them navigate a new world indoors. These bonded siblings have grown into stunning 6-year-old adults and have shown everyone that they are ready for a home that is experienced with fearful cats and houses no young children.  Already very comfortable with feline friends, they are ready to build relationships with loving humans. If you would like to help write the next chapter of their story and welcome them into your safe haven, please reach out to DoritS@animalleague.org for more details.

Rose

One-year old Rose (adoption #H209678) lost the only home she’d ever known and felt quite lost when she was brought to NSALA’s adoption center. Given time and space to bloom, she has taught staff and volunteers what she needs to thrive in her next home: peace and quiet. Rose is happiest as the only pet and a consistent, predictable atmosphere with children 12 and up in age will help her ease into her new life. If you have cat experience, you’ll immediately recognize that all this gentle soul needs to continue to bloom is tender, loving care. For more information on adoption Rose, please email DoritS@animalleague.org

Beyonce
Beyonce

Beyonce (adoption #IR1088) is ready to take on her very first real home after a successful stay with a wonderful foster family. This 9-month-old beauty has a talent for winning the hearts of everyone she encounters. She was rescued in Puerto Rico and brought to Port Washington for some physical therapy to find a vida nueva!

She is a delightful diva. Her time in a foster home has given her the opportunity to recover comfortably and completely. Beyonce will thrive in a home with older children where she the one and only pet. If you would you like to welcome Beyonce into your home, please email DoritS@animalleague.org for more information.

Banjo

Available for adoption at Almost Home Animal Rescue:

Banjo is a beautiful 2-year-old girl that loves being around people and really, really enjoys being pet! Banjo is very sweet and quite playful, and will likely do best in a home where she is the only feline. She can get a little snippy with the other cats when she doesn’t want to be bothered.
