Carmine is being treated for a minor heart condition which is covered through our Pet Health Centers. Billy Dee Williams (Adoption #BF3300) was discovered fending for himself near a feral feeding colony, but his rescuer realized right away that he’d need help adjusting to a safer life indoors. NSALA is not surprised that Billy Dee needs time to learn to trust humans again, but he’s surrounded by the most loving, trustworthy humans in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. They don’t want him to worry another day of his life, and are hoping to find him a quiet home with older children who will spoil him with all the attention he desires, or give him plenty of space to relearn home living if he needs it. Poor Duke spent several years in the Town of Hempstead animal shelter, getting bounced around several times because people don’t know how to be good leaders for shelter dogs. Duke has a lot of drive, loves to play and loves to be with his person. Remember Me Rescue pulled him from the shelter and put him into an 8-week board and train to help him adjust to life in a home. Duke is now ready for that next step. He needs a family who owns a home and has a nice, secure yard and a family who will commit to exercising him and being a good leader.
