One state was added to the list from where travelers to New York State must self-quarantine for 14 days to curb the spread of coronavirus, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Tuesday.
Colorado was added to the list, which includes areas with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a 7-day rolling average or an area with a 10 percent or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average. Arizona and Virginia were removed.
The list now includes 33 states, plus Guam and Puerto Rico. New York City has set up checkpoints at bridges and tunnels to ensure travelers from other states fill out the required contact tracing paperwork or face fines.
