Available for adoption through North Shore Animal League America:

Eloise
Eloise

Who looks like she’s carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders? That’s none other than tiny but mighty Eloise (Adoption #H210813)! She actually uses those sad eyes to grab your attention. Four-month-old Eloise is actively interviewing humans for the role of her best friend, climbing up onto shoulders to perch upon. Can you think of anything sweeter than that? No one can blame you if you can’t resist her—we can’t either. Eloise is being monitored for pectus excavatum (her ribcage is concave,) a condition that can impact her energy. This doesn’t impact her ability to snuggle up for some cuddles with her favorite humans. What could be more purrfectly imperfect than that?

Tim Burton and Johnny Depp
Tim Burton and Johnny Depp

**Double Adoption** Tim Burton (Adoption #H210842) and Johnny Depp (Adoption #H210843) are collaborating on their next project: stealing scenes and capturing hearts! These bonded 5-month-old brothers have been learning the finer art of inside living after being rescued by good Samaritans in a local neighborhood. Although they still have to work out their feelings about humans, they’re learning a lot from watching more confident friends in their cage-free room at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. They’ve already joined a playgroup—they just can’t resist a good time! A patient family with children 8+ in age will be all they need to make a smooth transition to home living.

Lovely Rita
Lovely Rita

Lovely Rita (Adoption #T103087) has everyone singing with joy around her. This five-month-old, pretty mini-housepanther traveled all the way from Tennessee for a better chance at finding a family. She’s a delightful choice for any home and a will captivate the hearts of children and other pets. With her beauty and personality, NSALA is confident nothing will come between her and her new best friend.

When 3-year-old Ditty (Adoption #H210895) recently lost her home, she was welcomed into the Animal League America family. Now this vivacious Maine Coon mix, completely unaware of her magnificent beauty, is delighted to greet human friends in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. Ditty is very used to being the pampered princess in her home, so she’s seeking a household with no other pets to provide her a comfortable space to shine.

Tippy and Minnie
Tippy and Minnie

**Double Adoption** Local heroes discovered Tippy (Adoption #BF3568) and Minnie (Adoption #BF3569) in their yard and delivered them to Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center for a better opportunity at a safe life indoors. They may not know how lucky they are to be guaranteed a future as beloved pets, but we’re giving this shy bonded pair of 8-month-olds all the time they need to learn a new way of life in a quiet, cage-free room. If you have experience with shier cats, we are seeking your tranquil, predictable home with children 16 and older for Tippy and Minnie.

Serena Williams
Serena Williams

Can you believe Serena Williams (Adoption #H201673) is a senior? NSALA can’t either! This purrfect 9-year-old angel lost the only home she’s ever known recently, and instead of wallowing in the sadness of her loss, she’s serving up forever place in your heart and home. Staff and volunteers think Serena Williams is aces, and you will too!

Available for adoption at the Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter:

Blaze
Blaze

Blaze, a 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier was rescued by Smithtown Animal Control Officers when a call came in that a dog was abandoned, left in a cage at Blydenburgh Park. Thanks to the dedication of the Animal Shelter’s Dog Trainer and the devoted staff, Blaze has learned to trust and love humans again. Blaze enjoys running around in the shelters dog park, eating treats, and playing in the pool with his toys! Blaze has bonded with the staff at the shelter whom he’s grown to trust. He has excellent manners and understands commands like sit, wait, and give paw. Blaze needs an adult only home, without other pets, and familiar with big breed dogs. His ideal family will spend time reinforcing his training with reward incentives, while understanding that he has been through a rough road and those days are forever in the past.

If you are interested in adopting Blaze, please call 631-360-7575 today for more information today!

Taco Belle and Georgia
Taco Belle and Georgia

Meet Georgia and Taco Bell. These two cutie pies are from an abandoned litter.  They are roughly 10-weeks-old and weigh about 5 pounds. They are currently with a trained foster who is helping them get over their understandable anxieties. Both are shy, but once you are holding them, they purr and enjoy being petted. Their foster mom really feels once they have a home, they will acclimate quickly. They are fully vetted and spayed/neutered.

If you’re looking to add some fun and affection to your life, this pair may be for you.  Please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or call 631-306-4616.
