Actress Jennifer Lawrence has been spotted at several locations on Long Island as she films an upcoming comedy, No Hard Feelings.
The film is set in Montauk, but is being filmed further west, in Nassau County. Recently the Hollywood star has been seen at Hempstead Town Park Point Lookout in southern Nassau and North Shore Animal League America in Port Washington, reports say, and was also set to film in Lawrence and Uniondale.
Lawrence is best known for her breakout role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games movies. The 32-year-old has since starred in several films such as Joy, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and Don’t Look Up – just to name a few.
A Woodmere native, Andrew Barth Feldman, costars in No Hard Feelings with Lawrence. The film’s cast also includes Matthew Broderick, Hasan Minhaj, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, Scott MacArthur, Kyle Mooney, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
The film was written by John Phillips and Gene Stupnitsky, and Stupnitsky is the director. Its release date is set for June 16, 2023.
