Westbury Arts held the opening reception for its first gallery exhibition of the new year, titled “NEW,” on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023.
This members exhibition showcases the work of 32 Long Island artists who were invited to express their own interpretations of what “NEW” means to them and to their art. The result is a vibrant and diverse collection of member artwork, across a range of styles, subjects, and media.
The exhibition runs through Jan. 27, 2023 and is open to the public for viewing on Thursdays (12 p.m.-4 p.m.), Fridays (2 p.m.-6 p.m.), and Saturdays (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) The Westbury Arts gallery is located at 255 Schenck Ave., Westbury, and admission is free. Parking is available at the municipal lot directly across the street on Schenck Avenue.
Westbury Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is committed to delivering arts and cultural programs that connect, educate, and inspire the community. For more information about Westbury Arts or the exhibition “NEW,” visit westburyarts.org.
